I haven't seen all the replays (watched on a crappy stream), but if they did then...

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Shocking for Serie A to have only two clubs in the group stage.

Quality support and they knocked back about 300 fans for no reason, then threw another 5 or 6 out just for chucking beachballs on.

Italian football going the same way as its economy. Soon Serie A won't even be top 4.

It's going to be much more difficult for us to get promoted this time as it was back in 2000 and 2001 as we don't have Jack Walker's money any more are lumbered with clueless owners and a crap manager. Still hopefully we can finish above Burnley and get at least 4 points from the 2 derbies this season.

I'm watching our game against Leicester now on a very poor and dodgy livestream.
Yeah doesn't sound like we have been brilliant but the main thing is 7 out of 9 points so far. Quite glad we got knocked out of the league cup as we need to concentrate fully on the Championship. There are a lot of good sides in there now but I think we have a good midfield engine room and if we stay relatively injury free could do well. Steve Kean is a crap manager but not a lot we can do except get behind the team and support them!

Re: Football Zone

hopefully Udineze never qualifies again for CHL

their owner has no ambitions at all to make it a top team, just to earn as much money as possible from it

Re: Football Zone

Udinese have never qualified for the Champs League. To me qualifying for CL means making the group stages and they haven't done that. Pozzo and Guidolin have done excellent work with Udinese. Lets be honest when they have a good season all the sharks are lurking to take their best players. It's not like this has not happened for years. Yes, clubs like Inter, Milan, Juventus or Barcelona come calling for Udinese players, it's very hard for the owner not to cash in and can't keep players against their will.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

At least we saved our Slovenian friends from CL embarrassing
Weaker team? They signed Cop (the best Dinamo's player this season) and Ademi (one of the best, too). All other players are same. Badelj will left Dinamo.

They've been in the group stages once before.

You were right they were in same group as Barca the one time they made it. Even then Genci's point is ludicrous about Udinese. Lets see, all these big clubs turn up want to buy their players that they have scouted and developed. Not like they are going to be able to keep all of them.

Udinese only have a limited income stream through crowds, sponsorship, merchandising.

Re: Football Zone

Berwick Rangers were unlucky in their match against Rangers.

Hahaha, Javi Martinez for 40 mil to Bayern that shit is funny, though not as funny as the prices Wolves got for Fletcher & Jarvis.

That is one hell of a saga. Martinez passed a medical in Munich very early this morning, but Bilbao have announced that he travelled there without their permission and are now waiting for his explanation before they begin a disciplinary procedure.
