Wrong club. Stoke have one thing going for them is that Lemmy Kimster from Motorhead is from there. Got to love a set of fans that boo a guy Ramsey who had their leg broken by Shawcross as if he dived.

Barca up 5 points already, the biggest surprise is Real Madrid C beating the 1st team.

Feldman, hope you are enjoying 4th tier football.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Football Zone

Refs won two titles for Farca before than the season started. Not bad, not even for Farcelona standards . In 4 days they were two times 0-1 down and the equaled from offsides both times. Red card in just one game was surprising though

That Ozil's miss yesterday . Two Turks left the squad and the third one playing like he also wants an exit.

Great that Modric has signed. He will improve the team just he is physically as shit as you can be . Needs at least a month to be ready for real football

Re: Football Zone

Absurd the amount of money Madrid had to put up to buy Modric.

Re: Football Zone

You'll see that this was a great buy. Modric was always a hostage of average players around him. Now has a chance to make the best of his talent and he has it a lot. Some guys who were far inferior players than him were even more expensive

Unlike every overpriced Englishman I think Modric is worth a sizeable transfer fee.

AVB needs to get some recruits in with it and quick, mind you.

I'm not saying it wasn't a good buy but the price is ridiculous. That said I'm not convinced he is one of the best players in the world like most say. But anything that gets Lassana Diarra out of the starting 11 is probably a good thing.

In his interview. he said somebody didnt keep the promises. Also he thanked the president. So it must be Galliani.

He'll be a satisfactory player, but not really a stand out at Real Madrid.

You say his team had average players?

Bale? Van der Vaart? Lennon?

A lot of people are saying the reason he didn't have the # of assists or goals some other star midfielders would have is because he had to work too hard each game. This could be true and it may help him succeed against most teams in la liga but I don't see him having any impact against the Catalans. We'll see.

Not everyone can be Zidane. Modric is definitely overpriced.
