Re: Football Zone

I really like Juventus, and it's sad to see them always accused. I'm not going to say they are innocent or guilty, but I watched many of their games last season, and they didn't look suspicious.

No, in fact for example Bonucci has been cleared and is considered innocent by the ordinary Judicial System! How is it possible that Sports Justice is above the ordinary one? That's the kind of shit that's happening in Italy unfortunately, lots of witch-hunting and uninformed people that stir hate taking advantage of it. It is what it is.

Re: Football Zone

Yesterday was the first match of San Mames' last season. Feels surreal to know that this time next year the stadium will be nothing but a hole in the ground.

So many memories for Biscayans there and a part of our hearts will go down with it, we will still root crazily for the team but we will always yearn for that old stadium where we grew up and where we saw some of the most legendary players battle, in Athletic's shirt or in a rival team.

So, this season is my last chance to see Athletic on San Mames

Re: Football Zone

Fiorentina doing a great job in the transfer window after a bad season: Aquilani, Viviano, Gonzalo Rodriguez and Borja Valero now in viola. Looking at the current squad, I think Borja should find a place in the starting team rather comfortably.

Re: Football Zone

I'm hearing rumours of a Rooney-style U-turn for van Persie, but I'm not believing anything 'til I see proper evidence.

Would be great if he signed a new contract though.

Re: Football Zone

Why did Malaga sell Cazorla? Great purchase for Arsenal. I wonder if RVP will rethink now. Giroud and Cazorla is not bad at all. I don't rate Podolski much but he should be useful as well.

Cazorla is a brilliant buy and Malaga dodgy owners taken over by a sheik who doesn't want to know now, plus they never paid for the Cazorla transfer in full to Villarreal.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Aquilani hasn't bloomed well enough. Hasnt he?

What about Roma and Lazio. How are they going to do this Season?
