Re: Top 100 in 2 years? My coach thinks so

Age isn't everything, though. A normal human can play about 10 years as competitive. Most of the pro players starting their careers when they're 15 or so. When you started it at your 20-21, you can last more longer.

Good luck Jonathan, probably you'll not even take a ranking point but goals are good.

Good luck, mate.

UPDATE

Thanks for the support, y'all

I've been in heavy training the last 6 weeks, 5 hours per day.

I'm training these days with Robby Morin, #11 in the state of Florida in the 14's. He is freakin' good. My coach is thinking at least 1 ATP point for me by the end of the year and for Robby to make some noise at the Orange Bowl in December.

BTW have you played any of the UCF varsity players recently? If you are getting to ATP level you should be beating those guys 6-3 6-2 routinely.
No, but he has played me.

I hope you make it dood.

Pablo's right that it's kind of a longshot and players don't generally come out of nowhere crack the top 100 but who knows maybe you'll be able to do what most others can't. Good luck, I hope you succeed

Fortunately for Johnny, you are neither his coach nor his source of inspiration. Go blow your sulphurous fumes on someone else's dream

Edit: May I also recommend you heed the words of W B Yeats: "Tread softly because you tread on my dreams"

"When I'm asked, how is it to be around Federer, and what is he really like, I always reply, "I wish people could meet him when cameras or an audience aren't around, as he is one of the nicest people I have ever met when stringing on tour. " -- drakulie

I did, dude.

My coach says there is alllllot to work on, my entire game needs work. He is suggesting no futures until September at the earliest. Had I played the ones this and next week, I would have been "embarassed" as he put it
