But like I said ambitius goals make you better.

I remeber when I was 17 in the states doing High school and I thought I could too, but in all, I end up being pretty good at tennis played college at lower levels and had a great time overall. Just don't let it be means to an end only. Enjoy the experiences.
Thanks for the information and advice

you'll have to beat me first.

I dont want to put you down, but its unreal to make top 100 in 2 years out of nowhere. I'd be surprised if you get 1 atp point in 2011 even if you play every day

Easier said than done. Lot of work to go from a 6-1 6-0 loss to a win. But hard work gets it done. Good luck Jonathan.

BTW have you played any of the UCF varsity players recently? If you are getting to ATP level you should be beating those guys 6-3 6-2 routinely.

Thanks for the support, y'all.

In order to get just 1 ATP point, I've got to win 4 qualie matches in a Future against unranked guys including one match with a guy ranked around 1000, and then one match in the main draw just to get a single point. Sure, it is difficult, but why strive for something in life that is easy?

I enjoy the challenge.

Also, Jeff, I am no longer at UCF, and even when I was, I was nowhere near to beating the varsity players. The coach was a punk who never allowed anyone to even try, so it is difficult to gauge.

However, my coach is talking about bringing in some girls, WTA ranked 500 or so for me to train with me in the next week or two.

Re: Top 100 in 2 years? My coach thinks so

That would be great practice to hit with the WTA players. Because in the scheme of college tennis the UCF players are ok. None are in the NCAA top 125 though.

Is there any one thing your coach is really good at coaching? Like a speciality.

I am curious, give us a sense of what is your tennis background, how old were you when you started what has been your best tennis victories momments. Did you get to play High school tennis, did you play USTA tennis are you a 4.5 5.0 level of tennis etc.
