Johnny lets try to organize an MTF tournament in the next years, or a league that we could try to play against each other. I know Excalibur decided to train, and I ve been plaing twice per week since 2012, so maybe we can compete against each other. Other valuable players I can think of are:

Hkz
Fast_clay
Henke

I think it's awesome that you are giving it all the guts and heart you can
at worst you can look back and know you didn't leave anything on the back burner
at best you can become a talented player

So was this a local tournament? I can't tell

If you have an issue with a report/infraction, a user, a moderator or just want to talk, PM me.

I support Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, David Ferrer, Del Potro.

Why? Because I love tennis plain and simple

Yep, a local 4.0. First rung on the ladder to the top.

Re: Johnny Groove stepping up, draw for Aventura is out, I play 11 AM Saturday 1st ro

Stepping up from the 4.0 up to the 4.5 this week.

http://tennislink.usta.com/tournamen....aspx?T=129855

I play Stephen Ford in the first round, and I will be the favorite in the 1st round. I need to win that 1st round, nothing is guaranteed.

In the 2nd round is where I think will be my toughest challenge. Either Treddenick, who had a good win over Nyborg last week, or Israni, who beat me 6-0, 6-1 5 weeks ago. However, I had injured my shoulder in the previous match before Israni back in Delray last month, and I couldn't serve at all or play. But I felt his game, and I was able to break serve on sheer guts alone to win 1 game. Now, healthy, I think a match with me vs. Israni/Treddenick will be 50-50.

Even if I win that, I'll play most likely the 2 seed Terrol in the finals, a player who I beat 7-6, 5-7, 10-2 last May 2012.

So it is all in front of me here. This is my tournament to win. If I serve well, have a strong mental, I will have chances, no?
