what is there to get!
these bad reps are coming from blind fans who have huge crushes on Nadal! I love Nadal but I wish you all were more like him, he LAUGHS when people ask him if he is the greatest of all time like it's a joke (Nadal) because even he knows its absurd. you all need to more like him!
See that's what I'm talking about. You've a very aggressive way of expressing your opinion (even more aggressive than some Fed fans)
Anyways, I don't think that Nadal is GOAT (or anyone else is for that matter). Yes I know that Fed and Sampras have a lot of accomplishments that Nadal doesn't have, and I respect both of them for it. I don't put Nadal above both of them. But to say that he is not in their league is also very unfair to Rafa. He is just one major behind Sampras, and would likely surpass him. And he is just four behind Fed (Yes Fed could add more to his tally, but it's highly unlikely). And he also has records that the other two don't have. Sampras had an extremely poor record on clay. Sure you don't think that masters titles are important, but not everyone thinks that way. And I'm sure the players don't think that way too. Yes, Rafa doesn't have as many weeks at no. 1 and WTF titles. And he won't rack as many as the two of them. But he would still get to a respectable total. And who knows he might end up with a WTF title along the way. I think it's very unfair of you to not penalize Sampras for his lack of slam on clay, or even a final (his worst surface), but penalize Nadal for his lack of WTF title (his worst surface). And Nadal even made a WTF final.
Sure, you can believe whatever you want. But I'm pretty sure historians would put Nadal in the same league with Fed and Sampras. Especially when Nadal had to contend with Fed from the very beginning. And if not for Fed, he would be the one with the most weeks at no 1.
