No. I think it's a metaphor for every individual death, not a group thing necessarily.

What do you think would happen with humanity if all religions, somehow, suddenly disappeared? Not just unified into one, or transformed into something more rational, but disappeared altogether.

I'll pass coz I'm everything but religious by any means. We could rely on our brains or ratio, don't know.

Same question.

Well I'll just say I think this world would be a better place. I really do think it's laws and not religion stopping people from doing bad things so yeah...

Is beauty the first thing that attracts you to someone?

sure, that the initial reaction unless you're some mind reader. attraction is hard to define because sometimes you could meet someone and i can't pinpoint while you like them so much

if you really cared for someone deeply, would you follow them to another state/country? while postponing your own ambition.

Yes, yes. I'd put my ambition under the carpet.

What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?

I love computers - and yes, built a new one recently and generally on the computer prob 18/7

If you had a choice: stretch time so seconds lasted minutes or even weeks, or compress it so years lasted months or weeks, which would you choose? (BTW, it's using your allotted life span to contract or expand )

I would compress the 20 years past 60. (That way I could expand years 20 to 40 giving me a regular lifespan, not angering the time gods)

Is your dentist proud of you?

After 40 years of smoking and slightly more drinking gallons of black coffee daily, I have a sneaking feeling not. He may be happy though with all the money he made off me as a result

If you could live your life over as someone famous/notorious, who would it be?

Yes, a few times.

What do you like less about religions?

Re: The Ask The Replier A Question Game #2

(least?) I don't have a lot of negative associations with religion; I was raised areligious so I never felt the oppression that many complain about, simply because I never felt it applied to me.
Objectively, probably the whole idea of dogma is what I find the most harmful.

Do you think technology and ethics are not progressing at the same pace, and do you see it turning into a problem for humanity?

Re: The Ask The Replier A Question Game #2

ethics (or any other "philosophical bubble" for that matter) has unduly long been neglected in favour of the world of applied science.

(coincidentally, i was reading this article last night that might be of interest to you.)

is it true that if you've seen one smart ancient Greek guy lying on a couch being hand-fed grapes, you've seen them all?

Re: The Ask The Replier A Question Game #2

I don't think so. But then again, I might have a smart ancient Greek guy fetish so it's hard to tell how much of it is wishful thinking on my part.
(thank you for the article link! it seems interesting, I'll read it)

Out of all your habits, which one do you think says the most about you?

Smoking, way to much, in a row, 60 per day....

What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?
