Re: The Ask The Replier A Question Game #2

Pretty well. As a rule I'm non-judgemental and ready to lend an ear if somebody has a problem, but a long time friend, not lately in all fairness, has really pushed it. It's got to a point where you've heard it all before and no matter what you say they will do the opposite and then expect you to be surprised and sympathetic once again, so I've called a halt. Surprising because it's not remotely in my nature, but there comes a point when you have to say enough is enough.

Reserved or outgoing?

Real men have singlehanded backhands.

Outgoing largely, but up to a limit, always.

Do you believe people change, and by how much?

Change is a normal development in life. It always depends on situations and experiences we go through.

What made you happy in the last days?

Thinking about how wonderful the instinct to adapt to survive is. On a more prosaic note; the great weather and this awesomely weird story about a gay dolphin and a shark in love I read the other day.

What is your main reason for reading a book or a short story, and do you have a favourite style of writing?

Re: The Ask The Replier A Question Game #2

The story just needs to interest me. Even if a book is written by a writer I usually like but the story doesn't seem to interest me I don't read the book.

I'm open for all kind of genres, I only avoid fantasy and science fiction.

Which players would you like to see to team up in doubles?

Nishikori and Federer. I think it would be really interesting.

What was the last thing that you changed your mind about?

Of importance?

That we have free will.

Until recently I was an advocate of determinism.

Absolutely as I hate surprises of any kind; I like to be in total control of my life or anything that effects me

You?

Re: The Ask The Replier A Question Game #2

Hmm, I don't like to have the same "mental routine" in the sense that every day I feel as if in my day to day activities, I am doing absolutely nothing new or stimulating. Although I may go through actions that are routine-ish, I must think differently or learn something new most days, otherwise I feel caged.

What is you favorite color and why do you like it?

my favorite color is aqua. i used to say it was straight blues, but i realize I prefer ocean-y colors. I don't know why I like aqua, it might be because I love the beach and the ocean.

Do you ever feel like you just can't catch a break?

Re: The Ask The Replier A Question Game #2

Sure, there were for me some moments in which bad news compiled on more bad news, but I realized two things:

1) I was responsible for a good deal of my own troubles.

2) No matter how bad it was (and it was extremely tormenting and exhausting) I chose to focus on the bad and ignored whatever good there was at any cost.

Is there a music genre you find annoying and why?

Techno, electro, dance, trance...
It's annoying by nature.

Tchaikovsky or Rachmaninov?

Sleeping well, learning something new, not getting into any fights and helping someone out.

What's a minor thing that you find annoying that other people usually don't?

People who are on their phones constantly...while I would love to have a smart phone, I know I wouldn't be on it 24/7 so it frustrates me when others are.

What about you?
