I'm already looking forward to Dr Ivo and the Fish man tonight. Ivo should take it, but you just never know which Fish will show up..

Has Djokovic changed his service action since 2007/2008 because he hits more double faults and fewer aces.

Well some players have no problem adapting to hard even after playing a lot on clay, and in fairness from a speed and bounce standpoint, the surface of Indian Wells and Miami is a lot closer to clay than the one in Dubai.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Yes. If you watch him closely, his back is straighter now, and he doesn't rotate on the serve so much

I think he has. I know djok fans won't like this, but his motion to me looks more like a club player than a world class professional. For some reason he's started opening the face and straightening his arm behind him. I don't remember that kind of kink in his motion a few years ago..

Yea, and Dr J. brought up Davis Cup too. I had forgotten about that. As for the Spaniard comment, ... knew you'd love it..

No reason not to like I just posted here myself that he has changed it since 2007/8. But to my mind (as a fan), his main problem isn't to do with stamina or posture or action, but purely mental He's just terrified of failure, and that is making him tentative, nervous, hesitant on his serve (especially the second one which leads to his enormous amount of DFs recently). Just watch how many times he loses serve when trying to serve out a set or match - it's scarily high and has been for over a year now. He is so tight all the time on court - isn't enjoying his tennis at all any more.

I wondered what had changed, but it certainly was very different from the serve of the Canadian Open in 2007 when he saved all 8 break points he faced against Nadal in the semi-final. I think about half were saved with unreturned serves and 11 aces in total in the 2 set match.

The Serbia vs. US Davis Cup will be very close.

Expect Djokovic to win both matches and the US to win the doubles and Querrey to win his singles against the Serbian number 2. Expect Isner vs Serbian number 2 to be decisive.

At least another hour of rain there according to our commentators. It's still pouring there at present. They will make a decision whether to postpone til tomorrow if it's still raining like this after 2 hours.
