The 30-Love Club #1

How did you waste time at work...before the internet?
Talking to other people, chatting on the phone, running back and forth to the bathroom or the vending machines.

Do you remember your first (non-kids)...45, album, 8-track, cassette, CD
45: Off the Wall: Michael Jackson; Album: Off the Wall: Michael Jackson; cassette: Thriller: Michael Jackson; CD: What's the 411: Mary J. Blige. My parents had the 8-track, and their first one? P-Funk.

How do you recover from a tennis match? Eat chocolate or leave the house for a few hours.

Talk to the hand because the ears don't hear you.

OMG, siggy...another MJ fan. Shame he's brought the house down on himself. I do and well consider him a musical genius...but like so many of that ilk...it's just one step away from insanity.

I love my girls.

Hey ladies! I'm not quite 30 yet (almost), but I actually saw MJ in concert when I was six. I had the jacket and the glove.

Re: The 30-Love Club

Good idea this!

I just remember my first record/album. It was by a Dutch band called Teach-In In 1973/74 something like that...I used to be a big fan When I hear the music now...pfffffff PLEASE!!! But hey, I was 5/6 at te time hahahaha

Before the internet I used to phone people.......play the silly games that were on my computer....really boring stuff...

Sometimes when I here certain songs, I cannot believe how old they are!!! I mean, I love the album Rio by Duran Duran.....it's from 1982!!!! I've been a Durannie for 23 years!!! And U2.....1981

hahahahaha.....damnzzz time flies!

My mom wanted to take me to the concert-until she saw the ticket prices. And...the fact that they backed out of playing in Lexington was a heartbreaker for me.

No I did not have Atari. I had this stupid tennis game....bleeping a lot...with 2 stripes on each side of the screen, in black and white....and you had to keep the white dot in play

Live Aid...hmmm.....I was at my aunt's because she had a vcr so I could record all my favs!!! I remember Duran Duran was on at 3 a.m. so I was sooooo tired!! And my uncle watched till 2 or something...and then there was this HUUUUUUUUUGE spider on the floor...in front of the vcr!!! And the bloody vcr didn't have a remote control!!!So when Duran came on.. I HAD to go there..... I think I threw a big book on it and hoped it would be dead! When I woke up the next morning... my aunt picked up the book (me being too scared) and it was gone!!!!!!!

I think that game was pong. I had an intelavision. The games they have now just amaze me. We actually bought a few of the old Atari games a few weeks ago that even come with a joystick. It has Mrs. Pacman, centipede, and quite a few others we played in the old days.

I loved video games--let's see, PacMan, Mrs. PacMan, Centipede, Millipede. It was my favorite hobby. It was so bad, the arcade owners had to kick me and my cousins out because we wouldn't leave. By the way, Atari games are available on CD,and that will be my next purchase.

Re: The 30-Love Club

You can get them on cd, but the game I have comes with the joystick. I got it at walmart for 20 bucks and it came with about 15 games we used to play back in the day.

Now, I really want to get to Wal-Mart. I'm gonna get Atari on CD for sure. The mouse can serve as a joystick.
