Dr Jules: i don't mind that commentators think Murray is the favorite, he's head to head with Roger in that respect, what I find annoying about Wilander is that he keeps blowing his own horn and hasn't gotten over the fact that Roger has done what he did (three slams in a year) not only but thrice

Envious and pretty annoying
Confident and assertive and very successful individuals often do blow their horn/trumpet or whatever. It is part of their personality. Do not think Wilander is envious.

I guess that means that Davydenko must have a very very very small horn.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

I think Mats is one of the best commentators about. Mac blows with the wind too much.
