Re: movie stuff

Looper - major disappointment.
What looks from the trailers like an action movie is actually a drama with some sci-fi elements and couple of brutal and gore scenes. Not necessarily a bad thing that it turned out to be a drama but absolutely misleading trailers.
JGL didn't even look himself. It probably took a great amount of cgi/prosthetic makeup to make him look as he did. I barely recognized him.

Re: movie stuff

Anyone seen the trailer for the movie Flight?

Looks like a good movie, I don't watch many movies in the theatres, only when they look really interesting, this one fits that bill, can't wait until November 2nd to see it, hopefully it doesn't disappoint

Re: movie stuff

We saw Taken 2 the other night. Standard action fare enlivened by SHANNON's terrible acting and an inadvertent comedy ending.

Nah. He's to big for such a predictable romp. Shannon, from Lost, on the other hand...

Re: movie stuff

Maybe it's a romcom, although I expect it not to be that romantic.

Story about a former football player, who tries to save his life. From the makers of 'Persuit of Happiness'

One of the best actors nowadays (Gerard Butler) and Jessica Biel in it. I want to catch this one definately, maybe take a date with me

Re: movie stuff

I went to watch James Bond and I wasn't pumped up at all because I didn't like the trailers but since my friends wanted to go so I went with them. Just because it is a Bond movie you know.
Man, I was so surprised to find out that Skyfall is actually a great movie. It was personal; it was emotionally involving and it was the best Daniel Graig's Bond movie IMO. The action and story were well balanced. Some of the dialogs were just Sam Mendes has done a great job
A big thanks to whoever has invented IMAX It is really a new experience in cinema. When they showed Shanghai I had the feeling I was flying over the city. Macau looked beautiful as well.
I recommend Skyfall. Go watch it, you won't regret.

So many exciting movies to watch in the next 2 months – Cloud Atlas, Silent Hill: Revelation, Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters (Jeremy ), The Hobbit, Jack Reacher and ... Rise of the Guardians

Yeah. Sex Wax. Ex presidents. Young Keanu

Silent Hill was gash. A plot less mess with terrible acting.
