so basically in order to win, you have to break. even in a tiebreaker, you need a mini break.

borg, to this day, attributes his 5 titles at wimby to his improved return of serve.

you simply must be able to break or you are not going to win. this is why guys like Murray have and Djokovic have had some success against Fed on quicker courts. they were able take care of their own serve and in addition to that, they were able to break here and there.

i believe that Murray now has the best return of serve in the game on quicker courts. he could challenge Fed but he has to get to the final first or its just not happening for him obviously.
Agreed.

Given Murray's impressive record vs. Fed on HC, if during the 2nd week there is plenty of dirt, Murray's chances go up quite a bit.

I'm not saying he can't play very well, clearly he can.

But he has the "Verdasco Syndrome", also known as lack of consistency.

Wimbledon is too slow for Muzza really, if the courts speed up a little he might have a chance, but I saw faster matches on PC court at RG than in here

I think Del Potro has a chance against Muzza, he has improved a lot and is being very consistent on Slams

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

agreed.

the problem is this: you must be present to win. murray has to be there.

further, he has to keep pace with Fed. he cant be toiling and slaving away while Fed runs right through the draw.

so Murray has to improve fast with each match and he has to start getting rid of them in straight sets.

Re: •°o*Love is Warriors' True Sword, with Each Slash a New Life is Born/the Castle v

CD: if Roger reaches the final, it's a done deal, he doesn't lose on GS finals against anyone not named Rafael Nadal

Muzza isn't looking as sharp as he did during the HC season, he even lost a TB
Djoker is having issues with his serve return, so the odds of him beating Roger if they both reach SF is low, you can beat Roger 152415145 times on a row on MS and MM tournaments but on Slams is a whole different animal

Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

If that's really the case, then Delpo has a great chance at defeating Federer, that is if nerves don't betray him.
