Wow guys I found a fantastic video! You might find it boring cause you're not so demented about the history of tennis as I am, but this is a true gem. It's a British documentary from 1952 reviewing tennis history up till that point. Some great images of Fred Perry, Don Budge, Bill Tilden, Suzanne Lenglen, Hellen Mills etc. Notice Serve & Volley was not yet the established style of play. Actually it was starting in those years, mainly with Kramer and Riggs.

Gosh I sound so pedantic... sorry guys.

Here it is: http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=81594

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Tori I'll try my outmost best. Haven't been to a live tennis tourney yet and would love to watch a match live, any match.

The ballot thing didn't work so I'm going to have to try other naugthy ways.

There are naughty ways?

I'm going to try ticketmaster the night before otherwise I have to queue at 6am (noone wants to see that I'm a zombie in the morning until I have had 10 litres of coffee).

I can't wait last time I went to wimby I was 12 /13 ish.

So lucky. I am going to try my best to go to the USO this year.

Btw, this might be random and I apologize, but was it you who mentioned how you liked three indian guys who happened to be brothers or something like that when I was ranting about being Indian one day?

I think I might be the only person in here who doesn't like to play tennis *hides in a corner*

I like to play squash, table tennis and billiards but not tennis, don't ask me why, I love watching it but I guess playing isn't for me

and for the BH question, well, I don't know anyone who plays squash and have a two handed BH, against the wall is nearly impossible to hit with that

my son likes to play tennis and handball, he also does some pelota vasca because my husband has a pelotari tradition on his family, but my daughter likes volleyball and squash like her mom

Rafael "The Matador of Spin" Nadal
Roger “The Magician of Precision” Federer
Del Potro, Ferrer, Haas, Zeballos

First week, monday, tuesday maybe wednesday or thursday depending on when I'm meeting up with friends etc and depending on when I'm seeing my gran, I'm staying in London but also visiting relatives in Kent so I'm flitting between the two a bit. I am going home thurs night because I couldn't get the whole week off so I have to work friday which sucks.

Your entire perception of the sport will change when you see these guys live. TV does this sport no justice.

YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS

Well it's not that I don't like to play tennis, I'm just not that coordinated or talented to play. I like to play for fun, but not really at a competitive level.
