Planning my garden already. Going to use only non-GMO seeds. How about that Monsanto? I've figured out that some of my food problems are with GMO foods, like corn and soy. I can eat non-GMO versions, but the GMO versions make me VERY sick. I think this is one of the reasons Americans are getting sicker and fatter and the FDA refuses to do anything about proper labeling of food. We're not eating real food. We're eating Frankenfood and most people don't even know it.

Re: Say Anything: Say what's on your mind right now Part 2

I don't know why the viruses going around this winter are so bad. Every other week, there's a new one going around and the hospital gets over capacity with some very sick people. Our workload goes up one week, down the next, back up the next week. It's very strange. I got pulled to work in another section when just one person was off for the day (and there were 3 days this week where someone or other was off) and I was VERY BUSY! As in, I was working on a case and 3 more would come in, so I was running the machines constantly for 4 hours, one case right after the other. And I had no help! This is not my normal job, so I knew how to do basic stuff, but pulling up orders, printing things, accessioning, and special types of specimens are not what I know how to do, but I had to figure it out. I hope next week isn't as busy!

Re: Say Anything: Say what's on your mind right now Part 2

Ah, so my bloodwork confirms I am starting to absorb nutrients, but I am still low on Vitamin D (well, it's winter, give me some sun!) and need to eat more protein. I am also now ready to work out more since my triglyceride number shot up, never been that high, just proves I wasn't absorbing much of the food I had been eating for the last, oh, 30 years. Guess my cardiologist should've figured that one out, oh 15 years ago or so when he's always surprised my cholesterol numbers were always so great. I'm just happy I got enough energy that I got my fast walk back.
