Re: What was the last movie you saw?

Not a movie but a documentary on the History Channel called The History of the Hillbilly Basically, they would go to jail if they weren't able to make their moonshine. And the term 'red neck' comes from working men in the 1800's who wore red bandannas around their necks.

Hmmm. I always just assumed they were labourers who got red necks by being bent over shovelling, or whatever, in the sun.

I always thought that too buddyholly, but I guess hillbillies are just too complex for us.

Re: What was the last movie you saw?

Atonement - an okay movie...nothing special imo

Eastern Promises - well, after seeing Charlie Wilson's war the day before and hearing the line "lets kill Russians" 27 times, seeing the first few minuts of this movie and hearing the line "kill this Russian" while they very graphically show you throat cutting, made me burst out laughing in disbelief which probably puzzled the ppl around me...with that said i don't really know what to say about this movie...Vigo was great, Vincent Cassel too...
If you're a woman and a Vigo fanatics, you should see it cause of the solid 3 minute naked fight scene

Yup, 6 movies down 4 more to go...after seeing Eastern Promises i realized why they made this year the year of Russian film with so many of their movies...they just had to compensate for these two lol

No Country For Old Men

Hated it. Would have walked out if I hadn't been with hubs and we'd arranged for a babysitter. What a waste. Good actors but horrible story. Far too gory for me (and believe me, I'm usually a blood-n-guts kinda gal).

I love my girls.

Re: What was the last movie you saw?

alien vs predator
for people who suddenly finds themselves inside a movie theater

Marat: Last question: what do you think of me? Dinara: You are my god! When you play, I love
to see you. When you lose, I am even sadder than when it is me. When you are wounded, I suffer.
When you speak to me, I drink your words. When you come to see me playing, I am with the angels.

The Darjeeling Limited - it had my attention for the first 10 minutes and then i was trying to think of the ways to amuse myself while praying for it to end

La Vie En Rose Edith had such a tragic life, however.

What would Anderson say?
