Albert will play this tournament...

unfortunately he couldn't change it

I stayed in the scoring thread for news about his match, but as somebody posted the final result I was disappointed....

Going by how long it needed until somebody had the result, the match must have gone until about 12:30am local Lyon time I guess

He won the 1st set tiebreak 7-5, but lost the 2nd tiebreak with 6-8... and finally lost the match...

so sad, it would have been a good opportunity to beat Björkman as Jonas also struggled in his previous matches.

Albert's season is quite sad this year, he didn't have many highlights (beating Federer probably his best win)

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy
