Can Tim finally Hamburg-le a win from Hewitt?

Conan previously thought clay might be a good chance but having seen Tim's last two defeats on clay, Conan has revised his opinion. Both losses were to somebody who made him play a lot of balls and in the end Tim's groundies deserted him and he was spraying UEs all over, even easy volleys. Conan foresees a similar match against Hewitt but prays to be proven wrong!!

Re: Can Tim finally Hamburg-le a win from Hewitt?

I think Hewitt will win this match.Clay is a surface for baseliners and that is what Lleyton is.In there previous matches Henman has never looked comfortable serving against Lleyton.

I thought Henman could beat Hewitt in Rotterdam earlier in the year after beating Roger Federer but in the end Hewitt won 6-3 6-3.

I think that Hewitt will win this match because clay would suit his game more than Henmans

Tough draw for Henman this- I see Hewitt winning this too, though I'd love him to finally break his string of losses against Lleyton, I just don't see him winning it.

C'mon Tim- prove me wrong!

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: Can Tim finally Hamburg-le a win from Hewitt?

My head tells me that, unfortunately, whenever Tim has to play Hewitt, he already seems to have lost the match even before he steps on court. It's not that Hewitt's exceptional at tennis or anything, but it's all mental. The outcome of the match will most likely depend on Tim, and whether he has belief that he CAN and WILL beat Hewitt. That first breakthrough win, especially after being down 0-7 (0-8? I've lost count!) in the H2H, I can imagine would be increasingly difficult as Hewitt continues to win, but my heart hopes and prays that Tim'll pull through this time!
Ok, I'll stop stating the obvious now. Sorry, guys.
What a tough draw for Tim. Arghh...Oh well. GOOD LUCK TIM!!! You can do it!
We're all waiting for a pleasantly surprising outcome to your match!!! GO TIM!!!

But hey, in the unfortunate event that Tim should fall once again to Hewitt, who will you guys cheer on for the rest of the tournament? I'm liking Ferrero and Coria, among others

GOOOOOOOOOO Tim, you can do it!
Good Luck against Seppi!

thenman, I will be cheering for Federer and Safin also, but i think Ferrero and Coria are slightly more likely to win this.

Henman is not playing tomorrow so at least Conan's interest goes on for one day longer!

Conan finds that very funny. maybe it is karma working back against you mardyfishfan!!

There are some tricky qualifiers if he gets one. Or will it be a lucky loser?

Lol Conan.

Pleased to hear that Tim's got somewhat of a reprive (although I feel sad that Ferrero had to pull out). Good luck for your match against your new opponent Tim.

oh no! Seppi is the guy who made Hewitt look a bit silly until the rain stopped play. Definitely not the best draw.

Re: Can Tim finally Hamburg-le a win from Hewitt?

I still think Henman has a great chance of finally beating Hewitt on this clay. HE CAN DO IT. I like both players very much but I would really really like to see Tim get over this hump.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Can Tim finally Hamburg-le a win from Hewitt?

well we don't have to worry about it now!

One more win in Hamburg would guarentee his best win return in the 3 TMS clay events in a season.
