Show me a fist pump, Kiwi!!!!!!!
Incredible how intense he was again in the fourth set, it was a very interesting part of the match to watch. Kiefer came out playing the 4th set again with a bit more determination and pulled through in some strokes, especially forehand that were important points.
Very good work that he didn't rely on his only break in the fourth, but did everything to break Ferrero for a 2nd time to make things clear and not have pressure to hold serve twice more.
Did you notice he didn't play or try one proper backhand longline the whole match when engaged in the baseline rallies?
I just don't understand it why he doesn't try that shot, there have been so many possibilities in the backhand-backhand or backhand-forehand rallies when Ferrero had his backhand side wide open. This shows he could have a lot of more confidence in his offensive game, but he did very well to retrieve lots of shots and his defense and serving was great.
I just hope he doesn't waste his chance against Chela to reach the QF. It's hard to say what to expect from Chela, but on non-clay he has to be clearly rated as an opponent to beat.
