It can be difficult to get out of these situations and you can get easily caught in such rallies with Andreev commanding all the time, nailing you to your backhand side and then waiting for the ultimate winner against your direction or to your forehand (that's normally his favourie scheme, but not sure which concept he is following indoor). Therefore Kiwi backhand longline would be a very worthy shot to show Andreev that it can be costly for him if he leaves his forehand side too much neglected because he is normally positioned more to his backhand side, but Kiwi hardly plays that (I saw none good at all today).
Thanx, by longline do u mean down the line. sorry

Re: KIWI in Moscow!!! Kremlin Cup 2005!

Kiwi lost the second set 6-7(3), after leading 4-0

what a turnaround luck for both players. First set for Kiwi and second set for Igor.

I hope Kiwi hasn't lost his hope and will fight back in the final set.
The long bathroom break taken by Igor at 1-4 has distracted Kiwi's focus unfortunately

Re: KIWI in Moscow!!! Kremlin Cup 2005!

Kiwi lost 2-6 in the final set

I still can't believe this is happening, after leading 7-5 4-0, then a BP opportunity to lead 5-1 in the second set Kiwi should blame himself for letting this happen. At first, I was so mad at Igor for taking this big timeout (bathroom and medical) when he was down 1-4 in the second set, and I was so afraid that it will affect Kiwi's focus. Well, stupid Kiwi to let it get to him and in the end (starting from the end of second set), he played too safe and let Igor dictated the match. Kiwi should play more aggresive and never let Igor got back to his game

Kiwi is clearly very very disappointed in the end after the match, he broke his racquet after the match, and in the final ceremony, he couldn't even smile
Poor Kiwi
Hope this won't affect his performance next in Madrid.

When will we finally see Kiwi win another title
