Re: The European Swing... back on clay

Regarding the Seppi match:
It's been a while that I have been that disappointed by a loss. The negavite (losing to Seppi in such a thriller and me being part of the crowd) outweighed the positive (a good run in Hamburg and beating quality players) for me. Wish I hadn't been there.

And the next bad news:

Kiefer withdraws from RG.

Re: The European Swing... back on clay

The whole week at Düsseldorf was a desaster from his mental viewpoint. He really tried and wanted to fight, there was just something not right in his head. So many balls as he framed and did not hit anywhere near the sweet-spot is a concentration and mental issue. The same how he seemed to get tight in important moments.

This is just not explainable anymore because he had all the good work done in Düsseldorf and you would think normally that he feels well.

All right, lets just hope for better times that he is able to resettle quickly!

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Yes, many think it is because of choking (he lost serve five times when serving for set or match and he lost serve twice serving against the match within just one week) and a thus resulting lack of mental fortitude. Would not be surprising, because that's quite a blow for your confidence.

I say Bilbo writing something that the official reason he gave is a sore throat because he arrived at Düsseldorf with a cold and couldn't play in the first encounter against Spain.

Sore throat or not. Lack of confidence or not. He should at least go try. I lost Kiwi with a withdrawl, and Moya choked to a cramping qualifier today. My FO is over. All I have left is Mark Knowles in doubles. Oh, yeah, and Roger. Thank goodness I have Roger.

Back on clay. I wonder if he's really going to play in Gstaad. I can't imagine somehow.

Gstaad draw is out... and it's top... qualifier in first round, 2nd round GGL or Lammer and 3rd round most likely Youzhny... and Kiwi will play double with Cilic :-)

6-3 6-2 win, but Naso was quite poor.
