Re: Kiwi in Asia

Good that he had two easy matches and didn't mess up something Looks good so far

I hope also beats Cilic, a good chance although Davydenko by the result also didn't look too strong in this tournament.

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Re: Kiwi in Asia

Broken three times in each set. I think Rainer even lost 5/5 or 4/5 service games.

Re: Kiwi in Asia

Kiwi and Rainer suck together, I think this Olympic choke stands too big in their heads. They also couldn't perform in any way in the Davis Cup doubles two years ago when they got a chance to play.

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Re: Kiwi in Asia

Yes, both Daviscup matches were really terrible, also against Belarus in 2003. It's probably a safe thing to say that Kiwi won't get the chance to play Olympic doubles this time.

Against Cilic we can finally see him, good luck for that!

Re: Kiwi in Asia

Of course they had to move him from center court again.

Re: Kiwi in Asia

Kiefer def. Cilic 6-3 7-5

Cool! Now Gonzalez, Ljubicic and Robredo left. This could be a little tougher now, at least the names look so.

Re: Kiwi in Asia

Nice.
Anyone who could either record the CCTV 5 or bet365 stream?
I won't be able to watch/record tomorrow's match.

Re: Kiwi in Asia

Robredo def. Kiefer 7-6(5) 7-5

I could watch from 2-1 in the 2nd set and Kiwi played really well and was an equal competitor. He had three break points (two in a row and one after deuce) in the 11th game, but couldn't convert them

In the next game he was down 0-40 and ended the match with a double fault

The first set tiebreak looks closer than it was because the commentator mentioned that Robredo has had a 6-1 lead in it already.

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan
