Even though he lost, he should be very proud of himself. I know everyone probably thinks it's bad that Marat lost to a French WC, but I've been hearing about Ouanna for awhile - that he's a very talented up-and-comer. I knew this match would be a dangerous one for Marat because Ouanna could be flashy at times and could get the crowd behind him. That's what happened. I'm proud that even when he was 2 sets down and tied near the end of the 3rd, he didn't give up. He just could have said "f--k it" and tanked like he's done before. He kept fighting. He didn't let all the booing get to him. When things got tough, he didn't go completely berzerk. No over-the-top racquet smashing, screaming, and yelling at officials. He did lose it a bit out of frustration many times, but surprisingly kept it contained and stayed focused. I'm proud that he kept fighting until the END!
Losing 8-10 in the 5th after saving 3 MP's is a lot better than getting your ass kicked in straights, so I'm glad he fought back.
I'm glad that his last match at RG was a memorable one. I can't remember that last time I saw him get that pumped up!!!
And he can move!!!
See, it ain't all that bad --->
Now he's serving aces and winner serves all over the place. What did he do in the bathroom?
I'm sure Marat takes pride in giving the crowd an entertaining match, anyway. He has said it so many times that win or lose, he wants to please the crowd and give them what they paid for... her certainly achieved that goal. I can't get those chest pumps out of my head, it was glorious to see him like that, and tells me that he has a fire still under that cute little ass...
