Spread the Word: For all those with British Eurosport 2 We will be having coverage from Thursday. Check out the tv guide on the site. Lets pray Marat goes deep and dare I say it ...win!!! I think he needs a win to remember what it feels it.Remember he won some tourney in asia before winning Madrid and Paris?? He himself said it was an important win for him to believe that he could be in the winners circle again

Re: Marat, fais-nous rugir de plaisir Lyon!!!

I'm wacthing the first matches at Lyon and apparently they're saying that the court is really fast with a low rebound... That's not really what is suiting the best to Marat... Anyway that was the same in Moscow and he made the finals even he didn't like the surface so...

"When I talk to myself on court, I say, I love you, you're a good guy, but don't miss next time, OK? Marat Safin, 2004.
MARAT SAFIN US Open 2006: No, when you're 26, it's difficult to change. You can't teach the old dog to sit, huh? "

When you win, when you lose, when you smile or when you're mad : Marat you're still the best to watch.

"Just give yourself the opportunity, give yourself the chance. You have to
be happy with what you have achieved and don't take any notice if somebody
tells you that you should have achieved much more. You have achieved what
you have achieved. Nobody can take that away and you have a clear
conscience." Marat

Re: Marat, fais-nous rugir de plaisir Lyon!!!

Looks like Marat is scheduled to be on against Gasquet at about 8.30/9.00pm French time. Looking at the previous matches I bet he'll be kept waiting for a while though...probably not a good sign but perhaps he does better in night matches...gives him time for an extra snooze in the afternoon...?
