My whole life has been a case of "can't see the forest for the trees", so might as well.

Except, when I was in Schiphol guiding other people around when they couldn't see the forest for the trees. Very surreal. Was very proud of myself, because it was my first time in Europe, and every time I got myself lost, I got myself unlost.

Of course we love Anna! She shook hands with Marat, talked to him during a match and gave him our messages.

Re: Hewwo and welcome home young man (The Kremlin Cup 2006 thread)

Mahut is a serve volleyer so it's dangerous in indoor but i guess that the draw could have been much more tough so just hope Marat will be on a good day ! Oh yes and sorry for my compatriot but i'll root for Marat... I'm a little bit ashame but i do that even on Davis Cup !

"When I talk to myself on court, I say, ‘I love you, you're a good guy, but don't miss next time, OK?’” Marat Safin, 2004.
MARAT SAFIN US Open 2006: No, when you're 26, it's difficult to change. You can't teach the old dog to sit, huh? "

When you win, when you lose, when you smile or when you're mad : Marat you're still the best to watch.

"Just give yourself the opportunity, give yourself the chance. You have to
be happy with what you have achieved and don't take any notice if somebody
tells you that you should have achieved much more. You have achieved what
you have achieved. Nobody can take that away and you have a clear
conscience." Marat
