Honnestly i don't see how he can do a great match whereas basically he just get out of the plane... Anyway, fingers crossed...
Two scenarios I can envision:
1. He gets off the plane, plays tennis, is exhausted for his singles match. Entirely possible.
2. He gets off the plane, has a chance to adjust to the Metz surface & conditions in a match that doesn't really matter, goes into his singles match a little more prepared (sees how his opponent is playing, although that works both ways
). Also possible.
