Didn't anyone tell you that feeding wine to underage kids isn't permitted?
How's the babysitting going?

Re: The "Marat, please don't mess up in Metz!" thread

The babysitting has officially finished ... ALLELUIAAAAAAAAAAA!!

No sooner were the kids out the door, than the cork was popped in the bottle of Shiraz and I was drinking like a fish ... I'm completely exhausted though ... we (my parents & I) took all 5 kids to this great park nearby which has trick water fountains and a volcano that erupts with a fine mist of water etc etc ... it was great fun, but I feel like I've just finished a 5 setter with Saf and I lost in the 5th set tiebreak ... I'm going to open another bottle of Shiraz and see if that helps

I bet the best moment of the day was dropping the kids off at your sister's.
Well at least it sounds like you deserved that wine.

ohhhhhhhhhh yes!
The best moment was when I poured my wine, sank into the couch, put my feet up, flicked on the TV and saw Colin Firth ... all I needed was someone whispering in my ear "Will you be my ballgirl?" and I would've popped my clogs then and there!!

*note to self, get Hubby to work on his Russian accent*

Honnestly i don't see how he can do a great match whereas basically he just get out of the plane... Anyway, fingers crossed...
Btw, completely out of topic, but in english are you saying "anyway" or "anyways" ? Just stupid question but that's questionning me after having seen both version... Thanks !

"When I talk to myself on court, I say, ‘I love you, you're a good guy, but don't miss next time, OK?’” Marat Safin, 2004.
MARAT SAFIN US Open 2006: No, when you're 26, it's difficult to change. You can't teach the old dog to sit, huh? "

When you win, when you lose, when you smile or when you're mad : Marat you're still the best to watch.

be happy with what you have achieved and don't take any notice if somebody

you have achieved. Nobody can take that away and you have a clear
conscience." Marat

"Anyway" is considered correct; "anyways" is nonstandard. I use only the former.

Two scenarios I can envision:

1. He gets off the plane, plays tennis, is exhausted for his singles match. Entirely possible.
2. He gets off the plane, has a chance to adjust to the Metz surface & conditions in a match that doesn't really matter, goes into his singles match a little more prepared (sees how his opponent is playing, although that works both ways ). Also possible.

I no longer try to predict Marat. Along for the ride.
