Marat and Feliciano "My Lip Gloss is Peach Flavoured" Lopez?

Thanks for the news. Do you know who he plays in the first round singles?

Джиетка: why are you swiss?
Gabrielle: to show my support to federer you know, the slump, the career threatening illness..;

Not yet because the single draw has not been released yet I'll be the first to know when it's been released but the problem is I do not have free wi-fi access on site. So maybe it'd be faster if you check it on the ATP site.

Yes, Marat's pairing with Lopez came as a surprise for me I can't wait to get home and tell everyone about it.

I'm writing my blog on Thailand Open right now. Normally I dont bother to write blog but this time I think it's better if I would just chronicle my experience daily. I will post the link here in case you guys wanna read it

Marat is pairing with Lopez ??? OMG... Okay i can forget that and forgive him... But please don't do that again

"When I talk to myself on court, I say, ‘I love you, you're a good guy, but don't miss next time, OK?’” Marat Safin, 2004.
MARAT SAFIN US Open 2006: No, when you're 26, it's difficult to change. You can't teach the old dog to sit, huh? "

When you win, when you lose, when you smile or when you're mad : Marat you're still the best to watch.

"Just give yourself the opportunity, give yourself the chance. You have to
be happy with what you have achieved and don't take any notice if somebody
tells you that you should have achieved much more. You have achieved what
you have achieved. Nobody can take that away and you have a clear
conscience." Marat

This is the URL of my blog. I normally don't write blog (I'd rather write something that pays) so there's no previous entry there until today. I'm no Tursunov so please understand that it can never be as interesting.

Now Marat hasn't arrived yet so I haven't written anything about him yet, but you guys might wanna read stories about other players and what its like behind the tournament.

Please feel free to leave me comments. Especially good ones.

To spend how much? Isn't this a typo? Never thought an appearence fee could be that big.

Ridiculous, isn't it.

Why one would even bother to win two matches is beyond me. The winner's prize money is probably not even half of that.

No it is not a typo. Later on this year we would pay Nadal 300,000 US Dollars to play an exhibition match. When I told my TO organizer friend that it seemed crazy to spend that much on appearance fee, she said "umm, 300,000 is not that much. We paid more for Roger last year".

Last year Jarkko also lamented this fact with us, he said "oh we played all year to earn 500,000 US Dollars, and these guys only show up and get the same amount!"

That's life.
