You're lucky that that guy was dumb. If i ever intend to become a dictator, the first thing i'd do is innocently watch on tv the news about generals dying in car/helicopter crashes all around the country.

But seriously, hail democracy!

I hope the tourney still goes on...

Marat is scheduled to arrive on 25th Sep 11.10 am --- US Flight 551.
Too bad I'm in a Med School, skipping a class would be like a crime! so I don't think I will be able to see him at the airport. But he'll be staying just across the street from my school so I guess I'd have a chance to see him around

Two days ago I saw Marat on the train

I got the info from Thailand open website -- don't know why but it's only in Thai version.

He will stay at Dusitthani Hotel. It's close to Silom underground train staion and Sala Dang BTS staion -- easy to get there

Re: Fed Not Playing, Marat Will Win "Commemorate the Bun" Open (Bangkok Cheering Thread)

At Thailand Open, most players, say 99% of them, stay at the official hotel. It's like they are even obligated to do so because the tournament struck a deal with the hotel that the players would stay there and the hotel would get the PR. But some players might opt to stay at some other places (i.e. Fed who is staying at another hotel on the riverside) and the tournament would have to tell the press that Fed stays at the official hotel. Otherwise the hotel would "lose face", like why the top profile players dont wanna stay with them and so on.

Also, I agree, the biggest farce is Thailand's election earlier this year in April. I've been so annoyed with some people going hullabaloo that this coup is the end of our democracy. Where were they when the last election occured, I wonder.

If you are good at something never do it for free....
