36 it is, then, only a few short weeks after being 104. Baby steps!

Ranking Watch

I couldn't find a thread like this in the Forum and I thought all of you might like one since Marat has been playing so well lately. As of 10/23/06 the ATP Site shows Marat's ranking as #36 which is up 13 positions

Re: Ranking Watch

There's already a thread for that, it's called Marat's baby steps

Baby Steps Took Us Back Into the Top 50--Now We Want a Seed in AO! (Ranking Watch) : that the thread name and here is the link : (Ranking Watch) Bouncing around

"When I talk to myself on court, I say, ‘I love you, you're a good guy, but don't miss next time, OK?’” Marat Safin, 2004.
MARAT SAFIN US Open 2006: No, when you're 26, it's difficult to change. You can't teach the old dog to sit, huh? "

When you win, when you lose, when you smile or when you're mad : Marat you're still the best to watch.

"Just give yourself the opportunity, give yourself the chance. You have to
be happy with what you have achieved and don't take any notice if somebody
tells you that you should have achieved much more. You have achieved what
you have achieved. Nobody can take that away and you have a clear
conscience." Marat

Re: Ranking Watch

We already have a Ranking Watch thread, and it's not hard to find.

Mods will merge this to that one.

Re: Ranking Watch

I don't see how you could have missed the rankings thread if you had opened the threads to look. honestly the rankings thread is actually one in which we actually manage to stay on topic most of the time!
