14.07.05 Marat Update

Marat was in quite a lot of pain after the treatment on Monday but since then he feels much better. He works in the gym daily to strengthen his knee. In fact Marat felt so much better he wanted to fly to Moscow to be with the team as support for Davis Cup but the doctor would not permit it. If he continues to improve Marat should be okay to start practising tennis in 10 days time.

14.07.05 As a little extra Marat sent a small electronic Ferrari from Italy to Tom son of manager Amit Naor for his 1st birthday.

DISCUSS.

it's actually commonly referred to as 'Shaggers Knee' ... ask Jackie, if she keeps going at the rate she currently is, she'll have some Patellar Tendinopathy problems too!

Re: The Marat recover soon and challenge Federer thread

Hm, I think I´m pretty optimistic, that he will be fit for the US Open , although there´s still a slight doubt in my head (I think doctors often say it´s gonna be okay in a couple of weeks and then it takes months).
No matter what, the news don´t sound that bad

Get well soon Marat, we need you
