This is their website:-

http://www.thechampionschallenge.com/flash/index.htm

Every other night the results and tomorrow's order of play have been posted under the "Information" section by 9.00pm British time - just click on "Information" and then on the "News" icon. However tonight for some strange reason they have not updated and because it's late here now and the tournamernt office will have shut long ago, I guess it won't be on there til tomorrow morning. Stoke Pauk is only really a tennis club - not a tournament venue - theyr're not very "clued up" about the amount of interest their tournamrnt can create worldwide with players like Marat and David playing, - so please bear with them!!

Re: BOODLES CHALLENGE

thanks Rosie, i've checked the tournament site already but as you said it hasn't been updated today.
and i know it's not a real tournament, but before RG there was this exhibition played in a tennis club near Paris and i did manage to find the results every day so i thought it would be the same thing ... but obviously not

its england give us a chance stepp

Remember cuddles in the kitchen to get things off the ground, and it was up up and away
but its right hard to remember that on a day like today when you're all argumentative and got the face on...right then mardy bum...

Said, who's that girl there
I wonder what went wrong so that she had to roam the streets
She don't do major credit cards I doubt she does receipts
Its all not quite legitimate...

And I can't be arsed to carry on in this debate when you say I don't care, but of course I do, yeah I clearly do...

I know you guys like to think we all live in some quaint little paradise over here where everyone drinks tea at 4pm on the dot and talk like the queen

Re: BOODLES CHALLENGE

Sorry guys - Marat lost to Enqvist yesterday 3-6, 4-6. Sadly, I've been told he probably won't play there today as he had a "slight knock" during yesterday's match and wants to rest Sorry - I don't know what/where/how the knock was - I was given the information "off the record" by a guy I know who works at the Club. If I find anything more out when I go there later I will let you know.

Re: BOODLES CHALLENGE

I really don't care about his result at Boodles. Actually, I was surprised to hear he would play considering the knee.

Rest up, Marat. And, take it easy.

LOL, really? haha, i dunno, here we have this strange idea English ppl like to have tea at 5pm. anyway i've never seen English ppl having tea. When i came to England i was either staying at the hotel, or in families when it was on a school trip, but even then we were outside with the class during afternoon, so i have no idea what was the family doing... and the second time i stayed in family they were Irish so they had different habits, especially regarding food and drinks.

but erm, i'm

Re: BOODLES CHALLENGE

Why didn't he rest before Wimbledon and played at Boodles?? Why risk your knee before the big event? It's better that he lost. Now he can rest.

Q: You have been described as brilliant and unpredicatble, how would you describe yourself?

Marat Safin: Same as you said.

Marat: I couldn't beat him(Andy Roddick) here. Can you imagine if I beat him here, what's gonna happen (smiling)........

Q: So what would happen if you beat him here?

Marat: I don't want to think about it, what would happen. What would happen to the tournament, to the crowd, to the people? I don't know. I don't want to think about it.
