In first rounds, he has problems with big names too...against Mantilla at RG...against Kiefer at Toronto...against Enqvist at USO...against Roddick at Indian Wells...Feder in Dubaï (ok for this one)...Bjorkman (nemesis) at Halle...and others.

In short, he 's in trouble with everybody...He should skip first rounds.

Re: Good luck Marat at the Aussie Open!... Please!!!

what I meant by good draw was...no fabrice or bjorkman, escude, midget or any other dangerous jorneyman outside the top 50 that marat can underestimate, although if vinciguerra makes a comeback I wouldnt half mind

and no hrbaty

Re: Good luck Marat at the Aussie Open!... Please!!!

oops im a bit late, you guys have written sooo much already lol

but i wanna wish marat good luck down under! (okay yeah he beat andy last year..not good, but i forgive him coz i love him dearly!!)

produce some killer tennis and blow this year wide open (i mean dont let fed dominate )

GO ON SAFIN!!

xxx

The Tennis Diet:
On the eve of the Roddick/Cilic match, my brother made Seafood Marinara. Can't eat it,
it's not part of the diet; it is enemy food. ie. Marin-ara Cilic.
I also did not eat Curry 'cos it rhymes with Murray.

I fangirl for Roddickulous, Youzhless and the Djoke.

Hope he repeats it again this year.

I don't wanna think about him losing in the first round. It would be awful. But if he skips first round, he can go further. I believe him..

GO MARAT !

Q: You have been described as brilliant and unpredicatble, how would you describe yourself?

Marat Safin: Same as you said.

Marat: I couldn't beat him(Andy Roddick) here. Can you imagine if I beat him here, what's gonna happen (smiling)........

Q: So what would happen if you beat him here?

Marat: I don't want to think about it, what would happen. What would happen to the tournament, to the crowd, to the people? I don't know. I don't want to think about it.
