Hello Maria! Do you know if he's got injured during the Nadal match or after? And who's Sobkin? (pardon my ignorance)

Btw, where do you live, Moscow?

in love with an idiot

Re: >>Davis Cup 2005<<

Oh, hi again Tanya, Boris Sobkin is Misha's coach. I saw a Misha interview after the AO where he said the knee had bothered him somewhat since the end of last season already.
And I live in Tallinn. You?

It's still nice and clean, even more so. When I first came to live here, it was a tad *too* clean for my peace of mind, but now I got used to it.

Oh, I wish Tallinn was cleaner.
BTW, what are you teaching?

Haha, aren't we like nicely off-topic?

Tallinn's not clean? Huh. I thought with all that joining the EU business... guess not.

And I teach Russian language and stylistics.

Well, what's more to do between tourneys? Discuss Dasha? I wish we had some tennis right now.

Re: >>Davis Cup 2005<<

LOL, I'm watching Marseille quarters.

Just wanted to ask - you're teaching at the secondary school or uni? Stylistics!! WOW!!! I am a Russian teach too, sort of.

Re: >>Davis Cup 2005<<

Lucky you. But, Guillie's already out, so meh.

I'm teaching in gumnasuim, sort of transition thing between general school and uni. Homework grading is a bitch. And stylistics is generally a fancy name for drilling clueless pups what's appropriate to say (and write) in this or that situation.

What do you mean "sort of" russian teach?

Re: >>Davis Cup 2005<<

I see.
To end this discussion here - I have a teacher's diploma but I don't have many lessons and with our constant education reforms and low pay it's no point wasting nerves @ our school. I don't know what I really want to do but at the mo I want to quit school and concentrate on translating. I work for a translation agency too.
OK, I'm not gonna bore you ppl any more. Me posting here is becoming a scary addiction so sorry residents, I'll try to cut it. Surprising how fast I started to post here instead of tgfr. I better get a life, if I only knew how.

Maria, Tallinn not clean enough? What are you talking about?
two years ago, when I was there, it was perfect. And I really enjoyed Tallinn, the sea proximity...
Russian teachers, great. As a student I would like to have a good one

Re: >>Davis Cup 2005<<

I visited tgfr. The colour layout made my eyes hurt.

The weird thing is the two russian teachers talking in english on the english-speaking tennis messageboard. Yes, we clearly need a life.
