On another note I am surprised he didn't get the night session. Especially if the organizers think that JMDP will win and they will have the ceremony.
The day session is sold out, the night session is not. (tomorrow is a holiday in France, end of WWI)

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...

Bugger, bugger, and double-bugger. The SECOND friggin' match on centre court!?! My Big Pixie is going to be on court while I am stuck chairing a meeting that I don't want to be at, and neither does anybody else attending!!! That just REALLY sums up my luck of late. Endless friggin' misery. And this just compounds it. I knew I should have taken the week off work.

Ok my Big Pixie, you had better get through this one. I expect to see you play Andy ... and to be the lone Scot cheering you on ... Aunty Denise can be my spiritual guide for you on court tomorrow. She will work her magic on you, and scatter the obligatory fairy dust.

Can I just say, ALL the expectation is on Del Pony. Just open up your shoulders, and play. DO NOT think about ANYTHING other than winning. That includes the blonde that I have on ice for you. You can only defrost her when I say so, and it ain't after a loss to Del Pony. I'll take her back for a refund and just get you a hamster if you do. You WILL move those feet and there'll be NO loose shots for me to get in a huff about. (I'm low on oestrogen at the moment ... dangerous point in the cycle ... beware).

Don't piss me off. I noticed some feathers on my pillow today. Have you delivered a part-order on my wings?

Good luck, and focus. You CAN do it. Self-belief my Big Pixie. Go for it.

FG

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...

This is posted at Bleacher Report. The article has a review of the first round, plus a look at his potential future matches at Bercy. There's also a poll . . . who do you think will be the "last match"?

Thanks for posting! It's refreshing to hear Marat's perspective at 29, instead of the usual journo's.

ATP, WTA, most tournaments all year. Great site. They don't post the matches until they are about to start.

Tell them at work you feel as if you're coming down with the flu. They'll tell you to stay home for the rest of the week and you'll get to watch Bercy all week.

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...

Thank you Saumon for the translation!
I was LMAO when Marat said he was drinking whiskey on the mountain trip.

Well, I won't be home for the match against Del Potro. If it is indeed the last match for him, I'm sure the ceremony will be all over youtube.

to all in advance.
