Re: Au revoir et Bercy...

I've just read that Del Potro won't play until Wednesday, so if (*crosses fingers*) he and Marat play, it will most likely be on Thursday; hopefully Delpo will be rusty & tired...

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...

Marat can beat Del Potro, I reckon.

Ascione is dangerous, big underachiever, big game. Hopefully he doesn't catch fire.

I agree with the first statment - Marat has a better all around game then Delpo - but he can only win if he believes in himself.

I don't know Ascione... I'm sure he is a threat - I just really, really, REALLY hope Marat doesn't make losing to him the last match of his career... quite frankly, I could handle him losing to Delpo more than I could Ascione...

I'm not gonna be happy with whoever he loses to, just hope his matches are quite long, can't believe this is it.

Ok, my Big Pixie, I am currently 'winging' my way home to see the match. Aunty Denise will be in the crowd watching and cheering you on. Give us both something to smile about. Remember, keep on your toes, and play decisively. I expect magic from that racquet tonight. FG

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...

I'm more nervous for him than I have been for myself for a while...

I want to see that spotlight on him after the match, just like old times. Come on son.

Hello BelgianWaffle,

it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our over 200 forums. A few popular destinations include our General Message/A> forums, our Off-Topic and our Player Forums where like-minded fans get together!

...

But I'm here for his final match!

The match is about to begin

Am so freaking nervous, though i think Marat should be able to win this one but you know, it still is marat, and by saying he'll win it easily i on't wanna jinx the guy

People are entering the court now , let's see who we can see of the MTF/ Marat crowd over here

Everybody has a livestream?? If not:

All 2nd Rd matches have to be over by Wednesday. This is a Masters 1000, so it has one extra round: 3rd Rd matches on thursday and so on.

And here's Drew Lilley's blog, live as it happens: http://www.fft.fr/bnpparibasmasters/2009_en/?ID=5595

thanks for the livestream Frensje :hugs:

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...

You're welcome, no hard effort though, since i have bookmarked this one in my favourites ... truelly a wonderful site, they show ls of even the tiniest tournament and with a pretty decent stream, even when enlarged ()

Stadium doesn't look that full yet though , and no signs of the MTF ladies yet
