Re: Au revoir et Bercy...

Well, group hug, I guess.

I wasn't gonna watch the match or look at pics but I said I shouldn't be such a coward. They made me sad, which I didn't think I would be, since I am so happy for him. I don't know... in the last couple of years, tennis seemed more of a burden to him, like an old suit you need to change. I'm glad he's doing it and not putting himself through more years of it for other people. He's always done what he felt like, good or bad. This is one of the good times. I wish I could give him a hug

He has such a special place in my heart. *squeezes him tightly from a distance* Be happy, Maratik.

Can you guys remember when Marat did that incident with "No way, I'm not leaving the court cuz I haven't won yet" as he won the set but thought he didn't ??

Instead of saying goodbye he said "We'll ski this winter so I'll see you there".

when he went back to his chair and the umpire and his opponent were like "huh, you won't shake our hand?" ?

I think you might mean his first round match (which incidentally was his career 400th win) against Noam Okun at Kremlin Cup last year.

There is a rumour going around that Marat will play an exho with Nole in Banja Luka on December 1st. it could be what Nole is hinting at...

Btw, question to Penny, should we post exhos related info in the News and Articles Thread or open a new one for that purpose. As it is he seems to have 2 (maybe 3 exhos) lined up for the next few months...

I was at that match and I was so happy celebrating that he had won that I didn't even realised he had sat down instead of going to the net LMAO1

Re: Au revoir et Bercy...

Marat didn't forget to say goodbye to Rafa:

It's just before the 2 minute mark.

Ok, thanks. It could be that, even if I read about something more bizarre ;-)

Marc Rosset lifts the veil a little about the 'celebrations' (if that is a true blog, not sure but it sounds real)

The VIP club he mentions, actually looks nice: www.viproom.fr
