Blocked streams, what a drag. I might not last the match, but Sherri's here and I'm sure Burrow is lurking somewhere!

Re: The Homecoming Farewell Tour 2009 - Moscow and St. Petersburg

Was just watching the livescore and my mum was watching me do my work, can't even log in here! Trembled hard during the 2nd-3rd set!

Damn I am in cloud nine! #76 beating #6 in a 3-setter match! Marat, I think this is one of the happiest days of 2009 you've given us.

Well, aside the fact that your pics make me swoon all over like a buffoon.

Kolya you've done a lot of tennis fans all over the world good! And our little hearts that overflow with ecstasy haha!

Parteyy for Marat! Aww!

Now win it baby and let's celebrate 16 titles!

PS
Someone do us a favor and please upload the match in all it's shining glory.

He sounds quite upbeat, this title is indeed winnable. But one step at a time.

Re: The Homecoming Farewell Tour 2009 - Moscow and St. Petersburg

And some very sweet comments from Koyla's PC:

“I didn’t think I would feel fatigue today – but it happened exactly in my match against Marat. In the 3rd set I could no longer keep up the pace”,- top-seed Nikolay Davydenko comment on the outcome of his match against Marat Safin – Davydenko lost to his team mate 6|4, 4|6, 2|6. - I realized I coln;t play my favorite ttenis with him engaging long rallies, Marat felt confident after wining the secomd set and began playing faster from the base line which brought him success’.
“I really want Marat to win the “Kremlin Cup” and I wish him the best of luck from the bottom of my heart, - Nikolay added.

Answering the question what he thought about Safin’s decision to quit tennis, Nikolay said: “As for me I don’t want to quit at 29. But I think Marat knows when is his time to leave. So there are some serious reasons for that. I’d like to wish him luck!”
