Yes, but let's hope one match at a time.

it's Marat so one shouldn't look further than first round these days. but Gonzalez in the 3rd round isn't too decent IMO.

anyways. one match at a time, no?

well, he has to play a higher seed in the 3rd round since he's only seeded 20 - so i'd say he's lucky not to play one of the first four guys of course he can still lose in the 1st round and then we won't need not to worry about gonzalez in the 3rd

you're right. it's just that everyone scares me by now

and I'd love to worry about Gonzalez!

Re: Roland Garros 2009

Marat's draw is pretty good. I thought for sure he would draw Fabrice 1st Round!

Sidorenko is a French WC currently ranked at a career-high #146. He is 0-3 in ATP events and is 14-13 in challengers this year (11-8 on clay). But he hasn't won a title outside of Futures yet. Marat should be able to win this. (unless the French crowd really gets behind the WC and it goes to Marat's head... )

He sure is, but Sidorenko is a young French hope, so he'll have some supporters, for sure, and the more so if Marat leads clearly in the first sets.

Q. Your next round is you're playing Safin.
JOSSELIN OUANNA: Well, so far, I've not thought about it. I don't know. I don't know. It's true that he is approaching the end of his career, but he's still a very good player. He played very well this year. Jo‑Wilfried Tsonga played him recently, and I talked about him. He has a problem of self‑confidence, apparently. He misses more shots than in the past, and probably physically he's not at his best, so I have a card to play and I'm going to try and play that the best I can.
