Tennis player's fashion sense is worring me...

I don't like her dress and her shoes. But she's definitely not the worst one. I mean, Serena? no one wears a dress like hers, unless they're a prostitute or a pr0n star and my favorites are the snake legging too. Absolutely awful! (I love how someone said it looks like snakes ate her legs )

Elena looks great (as always). Simple, elegant black dress. Classy.

Verdasco's quite funny. I thought of Brokeback Mountain immediately
(speaking about that, it's very sad what these morons have done to that picture thread )

it seems like every harmless thread changes into a fire of insults, foul language, nasty talk etc.

Re: Dinara!

The pic posted before was from the WTA Tour awards ceremony on Thursday. I think she looks pretty.

^ Dinara won the WTA award for Most Improved Player for 2008.

^Dinara with the other award winners - Elena won the Sportsmanship award, Caroline Wozniacki won Newcomer of the Year, Ana won Humanitarian of the Year, Jie Zheng won Comeback Player of the Year, Cara Black & Liezel Huber won Doubles Team of the Year (Liezel also won the Player Service award). Serena won Player of the Year, but was not there.

^Dinara beat Mathilde Johansson 6-1 6-3 in the 2nd Round on Friday. She will face Samantha Stosur in the 3rd Round on Sunday. I like the Blue & white outfit better than the yellow & black one.

Re: Dinara!

Sounds like it was a shocker of a match...what's up with the WTA nowadays - noone seems to want to be No.1?! Apparently if Serena fails to make the final in Miami, Dinara reaches the number 1 spot anyway but it's not exactly how it should happen.

Re: Dinara!

I didn't get to see the match, but from what I've read there were some rain delays during the match - but Dinara didn't use it as an excuse during the press conference. This was another missed opportunity for her to gain some points before she has to start defending the big results from last year.

Re: Dinara!

Ok, unless Serena wins both Marbella and Charleston, Dinara should be #1 on April 20th. Probably not for long since she'll soon have many points to defend and hasn't been playing that well recently. And of course the many haters she already has are having fun right now
Anyway, we're not there yet. And hopefully she'll raise her level of game in the next weeks

Serena was pretty much on one leg during the Miami final (she could barely walk/move...). I don't think she will play Marbella next week (but maybe I am wrong...)
