Dima made up for it today. He was too funny with the ladle and the pot...how old is he?

ha!
Take that Kolya, hope it will teach you a lesson to be more careful what you say in the future.
Good on you Marat!

You do? I'd hate to hear what you thought of Kolya's comments.

It's just you don't want to have a lot of expectations, because when you start to have a lot of expectations you just end up losing in the third round to God knows who. ~Marat Safin, summarizing his career

Well, it's obvious Mawie, Marat shouldn't have defended himself I mean, how dare he speak the truth?

What marat said wasn't the most diplomatic, but kolya was just as bad so I guess we can just say it's tit for tat And anyway, we don't know for sure if that was the exact quote word for word

He could've chosen better words, yes, but as a DC veteran who has given it his all over the years, at times at the expense of his own career, I don't think he deserved that criticism, especially not from Kolya whose dedication to DC is questionable at best . Frankly, I think any response he came up to Kolya's drivel would be justified .

I haven't defended Marat in a looooooooong time...That felt weird .

Re: News and articles - Bye Bye Master Yeti

well, i dunno the exact words, nor the tone marat used, but when i read it, it seemed to me that he answered jokingly, to a question that was meant to stir trouble...
maybe he could have been more diplomatic but i felt he chose to laugh about it... i mean, kolya spoke right after his loss, i suppose, and must have felt silly when he cooled down, i don't think there's much to fuss about here

Re: News and articles - Bye Bye Master Yeti

eurm, thank god Marat abandoned his Himalayan jaunt when he did ... apparently there's a number of people stranded after heavy snowfalls I think it's a little bit North-West of where Marat's group are, but anyway, hopefully his friends & everyone are all OK

EDIT: Penguin, if this doesn't belong in this thread feel free to move it ... do your thang, Pengy!
