We are all alive and well and enjoying life to the fullest. And we all have huge sunburns from sitting in the blasting heat for hours! I'm sure the ladies will post when they are back home. I need some beauty sleep now before the 3rd (!!!!) Marat-match in a row tomorrow.

I took this one after his victory over Reister:

Bye!

Re: "Jetzt geht's los" ... Grannies on a party trip (Hamburg 2008 thread)

Congratulations for your third wins in a row!!! After a very tough first set, he seems to take control of the match in the second set. What I like about this match is his percentage of converting the breakpoints. He took the chance immediately when he had in the first set. Well done Marat!!!

Re: "Jetzt geht's los" ... Grannies on a party trip (Hamburg 2008 thread)

Did all you guys see the match?

Watched it all and I have to say, yet again, it is all about the confidence for Safin, when he got in the match, he started stroking the ball beautifuly at times, he hit a couple of rockets down the line with that backhand that were just jaw dropping. He was moving alright I felt, and he was winning a good percentage of first serve points. All break points saved and all break points in his favour made, brilliant.
