Seriously, why cant he choose tournaments that have lower seeded people! This is pretty much like a GS draw
this is one of the mandatory tourneys- he has to count it if he qualified for it.
We all know his position is not so confy now: he is still in the game because he believes he can come back to the top; he's trying and trying and things are only going for the worse. After winning GSs I think it does not mean anything if you win a challenger somewhere in the middle of nowhere - so you can understand the feeling he may have that there is no point playing small tourneys. However, the way back to the top may start from the small tourneys, which may not mean anything in themselves but may lead to something meaningful.
anyway, just want to see him going up somehow, anyhow - I just do not want to see him leaving after 3 yrs of struggling and not succeeding! But even if that happened, he still has the rest of his career to remember and also has lots of things to explore and experience: he's young, smart, handsome and pretty rich: he'll have the whole world at his feet
