Actually he DID say "pourquoi?" to the chair umpire once
(I think it was in Lyon against Gasquet
I can always hear him complain in my head. Sometimes when I watch a match and the umpire got it clearly wrong, I know exactly what Marat would have said/acted
I overlept, woke up (a tiny little bit) at 4am and thought by myself that the match would be over by then so i fell asleep again
Me, personally, think that Marat didn't played at his best/ top level against Ducky for a reason: He'll wait for AO to do that -> KABOOM, SURPRISE :
Me too, except that I woke up at around 5 am and thought it must be over by then so I waited until later to go check the score.
I like how you're thinking
But hey, it was 40 degree heat in the sun. In the AO, the match would have either been called off or the roof closed!
I can't even imagine how horrible it must be sitting in 40 degree weather, let alone play 2 sets.
The court was too blue today.
he's at it again
let him have his fun
Okay, blue is my new "hate" colour
I'm changing the mtf classic to the new one.
you're a great fan Mir
Actually, starting with the QF against Monfils in Washington (which he lost in straight sets), it's been only straight sets (wins or losses) in Toronto, Cincinatti, Us Open, Moscow, Madrid, and even St Anton and now Kooyong...and we are saying he's not consistent
