DiMarat plays tomorrow. Not before 6pm Moscow time. We'll expect our contingent to be there

Draw looks challenging as of course it always is for Marat...if he beats a qualifier and then (probably) Andreev he then meets (probably) Davydenko. Defending his points looks a little difficult but at least there won't be the pressure of expectation this year with his break/injury.

He's looking happy at the moment...always a good sign!
Haha, there have been so many excellent 1st rd matches and then shockers after them this year. I'm sure he'll lose to Andreev in style. At least I won't jinx him with that.

And of course I won't be home by the doubles match tomorrow.

Or he could lose horribly to a qualifier. Hopefully that will mean he'll win!

I've been watching KC qualies for two days... well, I hope Marat will pass any of possible qualifiers but you never know..

DiMarat were practising together today after the most of qualies matches were over
Poor girls who were still playing on neigbour courts! I wonder how many time they had to replay points when Dima and Marat hit balls so strong that they flew to other courts
and some photos of course

Thanks for the pics Nadia. I've missed tennis so I hope I can make time so see Marat's match.

thanks for the pics
marat's shorts dont't seem overlarge, for once, or is it an illusion caused by the white ??

Hiiii guys! DiMarat won 7-5 6-3.
I just saw Marat's presser on NTV+ tennis, he said he is in a lucky position that he can do whatever he wants, if he wants play tennis he will play tennis, if he wakes up in the morning and decides that he doesn't want to play tennis he won't play tennis. He said he doesn't owe anyone anything so he can choose what he wants to do. And he said he experienced in the mountains what he wouldn't have experienced (or got) anywhere else.

Observing the development of his haircut we can conclude that he found his role model.
