The "Who cares about Roger, HE WON TWO MATCHES IN A ROW!" Wimbledon Thread.

Place: London, England
Date: June 25 - July 8, 2007
Draw Size: 128
Surface: Grass
Prize Money: £5,022,560
Tournament Director: Some Posh Person

Marat has played at Wimbledon 7 times in singles and once in doubles (with Marc Rosset ), with his best results being a QF in the singles and R16 in the doubles.

Some quotes:

"I don't look too much forward on a surface I don't like. You have to play in white and you have to be polite and you cannot do many things. That is kind of difficult, especially for me."

"Wimbledon is not the tournament I love. I don't like how they treat the players. There are small things that don't cost them anything and they make such a big deal out of it. If they treat us this way, well, we have to treat them the same. We want to be respected, the way we respect Wimbledon, even if it is not the best Grand Slam on earth."

Draw's out on Friday.

So...what are we thinking? First round, second round exit? Will Marat actually get past the 2nd round, something he hasn't done in the last 9 tournaments? Why did the Penguin ask me to make this thread since I have no faith in Marat on grass?

Title changed due to mod intervention
