coucou à tous...j'ai besoin de votre aide aussi! Je dois traduire un article vers l'anglais dont le titre est "l'histoire d'un drame annoncé" ...il s'agit d'une famille kosovare et de leurs problèmes. Je voulais juste savoir comment vous traduiriez ce titre parce que j'en suis pas sure...merci bcp!

En anglais, si on veut l'expliquer je dirais: Story of an expected drama (drama = like a big catastrophic event such as murder/bombing with lots of casualties)

Pour moi, je pense tout de suite à "Chronique d'une mort annoncée" de Garcia-Marquez en voyant le titre en français, je calquerais donc la traduction sur "Chronicle of a Death Foretold" pour garder l'allusion, si c'est possible en anglais.

(Sinon, si tu voulais juste comprendre le sens de l'expression, dancing_queen a raison, c'est "the story of an expected tragedy" ou un truc dans le genre.)
