Silverwhite>> i haven't seen most of those movies. Those which i've seen are:
(a married couple goes through a crisis when the wife starts a lesbian relationship with another woman)
(a group of tourists spend their holidays in a Club Med hotel)
Le Père Noël
est une ordure (dunno how to explain this one... it's a play at the beginning, then the actors made it a movie... it's a classic in France)
(a knight and his servant drink a potion and leave the Middles Ages.... to land in today's world.)
Those movies are very famous here (especially the last 3), they are all comedies btw. There are some sentences and expressions from them which are known by everyone here. They aren't really my kind of movies. Typical French humor tho. But more the humor of my parents generation. For me they are a bit "beauf"
beauf= abbreviation of "beau-frère" (brother-in-law). It is a pejorative and humorous term used to refer to stereotypical ordinary Frenchmen who are perceived as being somewhat vulgar, narrow-minded and chauvinistic.
But i know a lot of ppl, even young ppl, would disagree. Les Bronzés
is a cult movie here for a lot of young people, so...
For the rest, i've heard that Violence des échanges en milieu tempéré
