Okay! Here's what we're gonna do for Lleyton!

Okay, everyone's here because they love Lleyton. I think we should do something for him...I don't know if we can send fan mail, but if we can, we should.
Now, I'm a regular at Roger's website, and I noticed that some of his fans gave him letters in red envelopes last year when they saw him at matches and tournaments. I'm not saying we should copy them, but we should do something like that for Lleyton, so he'll know that he's our favorite! Also, a BIG GET WELL CARD would be so COOL! I don't know...maybe I'm going overboard. Let me know what you think.

Good idea! I'll follow if everyone else is up for it

Re: We should do something for Lleyton...

So, do you have any ideas? I'm hoping to see him in Cincinnati in August, or Indy in July (if he's there)...I'm assuming he might be, just to get back in the game and rack up some more points. But, what do you think we should do for him?

I don't know we could each of us, write a message for him and one of us compiles them all...

Re: We should do something for Lleyton...

Do you know where we can send fan mail? I'd be happy to compile them, provided someone can email them to me, or something like that. Then I could print them off and put 'em in a book or something. My email is Becky_susan@msn.com if anyone wants to send me something, put Lleyton in the subject line.

Re: We should do something for Lleyton...

Someone from Lleytonland did this a couple of years ago. I think she ended up handing it to Cherilyn at the USO and asked her to give it to Lleyton.

I think it's a great idea. If no-one is going to a tournament, we could send them to his manager and he'll get it eventually. (LOL ... or we could send it to Bec at Channel 7 )

Re: We should do something for Lleyton...

So I suggest what we did once in CCL for Kim, just write your messages for him in this thread and then tennisfan16 you can have them all here

But it shouldn't be a red folder, it should be a green and gold folder.

Maybe we should chip in and buy him a gold-plated nail clipper, one of those heavy-duty ones you use on your toenails. We could put the number 23 on it and paint it Adelaide Crows colors.

C'mon, Lleyton!

Okay, yellow and green...or gold and green...whatever. And, I like the nail clipper idea, but, I don't think he'd find it as funny as we do...at least, not yet. At least Andy's out of Miami now, so he can't take over Lleyton's #2 spot just yet!

OK! Here's what we're gonna do for Lleyton!

Okay, so I guess this is the consensus. If any of us can see Lleyton play and can talk to him, we'll all give him little notes of encouragement (and of our devotion ) in the colors green and yellow (gold) - at least the decoration part. How does that sound? It'll be the little thing of the Lleyton fans.

Also if we do this and stuff, we can use this thread to track the responses and successes!
