Lleyton home, Bec away
THERE was no sign of Home and Away star Bec Cartwright at Lleyton Hewitt's box at the tennis yesterday.
But good mate Andrew McLeod was among the Crows players showing their support, along with Tyson Edwards and Lleyton's parents Glynn and Cherilyn, at the Next Generation Hardcourts championships. (Lleyton was teamed up with coach Roger Rasheed for the match.)
Also seen courtside yesterday was Port Adelaide players Kane Cornes and Warren Tredrea, Adelaide 36ers coach Phil Smyth and basketballer Darryl Pearce.
Andrew and Tyson return to Memorial Drive tonight – along with fellow Crows Ken McGregor and Scott Welsh – for a fun celebrity match at 7pm, before Lleyton plays his first round singles match.
Nova presenter Ryan Fitzgerald also will be watching the tennis action tonight – and will be back tomorrow to sign autographs in the garden square at 1pm.
